Role Overview:
For a Senior Data Scientist Job we are looking for a person with a deep understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) to enhance our AI activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end process of training, fine-tuning or integrating custom models and large language models, building pipelines around them, developing an advanced tool for data discovery. This role will report directly to the CEO, with potential to grow into a leadership position.
Responsibilities:
• Work extensively on natural language processing, integrating large language models, and building pipelines for data processing.
• Develop, train, fine-tune, and deploy AI models to support complex NLP tasks.
• Collaborate with the data engineering and data fetching teams.
• Break down complex problems into executable tasks.
• Monitor the performance of AI models and optimize as needed.
Requirements:
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of NLP, with a strong focus on complex tasks such as text summarization, topic modeling, natural language inference, and fine-tuning of large language models.
• Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
• Familiarity with NLTK, Spacy, Hugging Face's Transformers, Keras, SciKit-Learn, SQL and NoSQL databases, Apache Airflow, Kubeflow, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Kafka, and cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration systems (Kubernetes), Linux and Shell Scripting, and MLOps principles and tools.
• A degree in computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, system analysis, computational linguistics, or a related field.
• Experience in a product company or startup is preferred.
• Experience in media monitoring or working with open web data is a big plus.
