Role Overview:

As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our engagement with U.S. federal agencies, focusing on the State Department, DOD, and IC. You’ll independently lead business development efforts, identify and secure opportunities, and nurture strategic relationships. You’ll have the opportunity to build and lead a team of sales representatives as our operations expand.

Your expertise and established network will directly contribute to our growth and the success of our partnerships within the federal government.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Develop and execute a strategic business development plan targeting the U.S. State Department, DOD, and IC.
•  Establish, strengthen, and manage relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within federal agencies.
•  Identify emerging trends, needs, and opportunities within the U.S. federal landscape to align our offerings with government priorities.
•  Lead the creation and presentation of proposals, contracts, and agreements tailored to the unique requirements of each agency.
•  Monitor and analyze sales metrics, providing regular updates to leadership on progress and opportunities.
•  Work closely with analytics and technical teams to ensure our solutions meet the specific needs of federal clients.

Requirements:

•  7+ years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of success in federal business development.
•  Deep understanding of the U.S. State Department, DOD, and IC, including established relationships with key stakeholders.
•  Ability to craft and execute a long-term business development strategy.
•  Skilled in navigating complex procurement processes and securing high-value federal contracts.
•  Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
•  Thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment focused on mission-critical objectives.
•  Experience working in a tech company or startup, especially within the cybersecurity domain, will be a plus.
